Debate – The Debate Team participated in a tournament at Grant High School on
Friday October 19 and another one at Stevenson High School on
Saturday, October 20. Yes, it was a busy weekend. Congratulations to
freshman Luis Barahona-Rivas for winning a third place speaker trophy
at the Grant tournament.


FCS Club – The FCS Club will be meeting on Mondays in the foods rooms from 7-7:45.  If you like cooking, baking or eating this club is for you! All are welcome! Please See Miss T or Mrs. Plaza for more details.


Snowball – Snowball held the fall retreat on November 5, 2018.


Junior Class – Prom Planners:
If you are a junior or senior interested in helping plan prom, the first meeting was on Thursday, November 8 at 7:30am in A308. If you didn’t make it, see Mrs. Grunloh or Mrs. Sokolowski for more information.
Chess Club – The chess club competed in the annual NLCC Chess Invitational on Saturday, November 10.  Chess club meets after school each Friday in room A249.
Latinos Stand Up – Latinos Stand Up has been very busy this fall. The club took their annual field trip to the National Museum of Mexican Art and ate lunch in Pilsen. They also took a service trip to Feed My Starving Children, and are planning to attend a Pachanga (leadership & social event) at York High School in November. In addition to all this, they sold posters at lunch and designed a new club t-shirt – watch for your chance to purchase one!

Anime Club – Chibi Japan Anime Club held their annual Halloween/Cosplay party in October. They will be planning a February field trip to Anime Milwaukee.
