The North choirs put on their winter concert on Dec. 11, 2018, in the auditorium at Grayslake Central.

The show went on for a little bit over an hour and a half long, and it featured many performances by all sections of the choir.

“It was a great experience. I especially enjoyed the acapella performance,” said parent Brenna Gunn.

The concert included performances by the acapella group, Pulse, and the band called Slam Funk. Many songs along with vocals were accompanied by instruments such as the guitar and violin, all being played by fellow students.

“I was really moved by the song ‘O Magnum Mysterium.’ It’s a very difficult song,” said audience member Sue Dorrins, who experienced first Grayslake concert.
